The two LS\u2122 are the first EVLP machines to be sold to Spain and the first LS\u2122 to be sold by XVIVO Perfusion. Delivery and installation of the LS\u2122 will take place in Q4 2016.<\/strong><\/div>\n

The Hospital Universitario Marques de Valdecilla, Santander, has decided to start an EVLP program and the installation is planned to Q4, 2016. The investment was made thank to a grant from Fundacion Marques de Valdecilla.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hospital Universitario Reina Sofia, Cordoba and\u00a0IMIBIC\u00a0(Maimonides Institute for Biomedical Research of C\u00f3rdoba) were granted by Fundacion Mutua Madrile\u00f1a. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cWe are delighted and proud that EVLP with LS\u2122 and STEEN Solution\u2122 will be used for evaluating lungs for transplantation in Spain. The two LS\u2122 are the first to be sold by XVIVO Perfusion and Spain is a new country with an EVLP machine. The company sees a continued high interest from American and European clinics to setup machine perfusion to facilitate lung evaluation with the aim of using more of the donated lungs\u201d, says Magnus Nilsson, CEO of XVIVO Perfusion.<\/span><\/p>\n
